Products That Make Life Easier and More Fun for Puppy Parents and Pups...
According to the RSPCA, there are an estimated 12 million dogs in the UK, many of which have been used to having their owners being at home on a daily basis since the pandemic hit. (BBC News 1st August 2021).
As the country is opening back up, working from home is shifting back to the office and children are returning to school, the number of dogs finding themselves home alone have increased significantly. Dogs that have had interaction from their families and comfort from their presence could now be faced with longer periods of alone time that will need other routes of stimulation and enjoyment.
We talk to local lady Tracey P about the fantastic new product she has launched...
As new dog owners in 2019, prior to the pandemic, having a happy, occupied dog was incredibly important to me whilst I was out working. I found that one of the best ways of keeping our new puppy entertained and content whilst on his own was through the use of enrichment toys. This allowed him to have activities to access independently which both stimulated his brain and eased the separation anxiety he may have faced when left alone.
The brands we most frequently used were the KONG products, however, there are many other brands available including West Paws and Soda pup as well as many others.
As I began to use these products I encountered difficulties with how to efficiently fill and store these toys in a mess-free way.
This led me to design some of my own products to help other dog owners to find solutions to some of the everyday tasks I was struggling with.
Subsequently, I have now developed a thriving online business selling products to enable dog owners to have more fun with their pups.
I have worked with Warwick University on product development to create the No Fuss Fill ®.
This product allows quick and easy filling of enrichment toys using your dog’s favourite food or treats. I have designed the product myself based on the challenges I faced myself as a dog parent and the product has been made in the UK.
